VITAP - ECLIPSE, ...Semi-Automatic Contour (Curved Panel or Round Tables) Edge Bander:

Curved (Contour) Edgebanding: Unique design to allow the 360° edgebanding to contoured (shaped) panels; edgebanding is applied automatically as part is advanced past the edgebanding workstations via turntable. Reduced learning curve/expertise for operation as operator simply loads part to vacuum turntable, then activates the edgebanding cycle.

Specifications:

Panel size from 500 mm to 2,400 mm (19-5/8" - 94-1/2") ; min. internal radius 250 mm (9-7/8").
0.4 - 3 mm Edgebanding thickness and panel thickness from 16 - 50 mm (5/8" - 1.96").
Automatic advance of banding material during edgbanding cycle.
Radius tolerances dependent upon tape thickness and pliability; edge thickness of 1 mm min. = R 30 (1-1/8"); edge thickness 2 mm min. = R 50 mm (2"); edge thickness 3 mm min. = R 50 mm. (2").

Equipped with:
Thermal-regulated glue pot heated via (2) 800 Watt heating elements with electronic temperature controls; holds up to 1 kG (2.2 Lbs) of granules.
(2) Pressure rollers to copy the shape of the piece, automatic guillotine for coiled material up to 3 mm thickness & 45 mm height (1/8" - 1 3/4").
Top & bottom trim unit with (2) 0.5 kW high frequency motors (15,000 RPM).

Features:
Laser detection for easy length identification with closed parts without the need for additional length measurement.
Motorized turntable for automated edgebanding application to large panels; holding or support arm has large vacuum cup to secure panels for edging and trimming.

Panels can be irregular in shape but must conform to the min. tolerances of inner & outer radii and fit within a 94" dia. work area.

Includes & Complete with: Centralized control panel with individual controls for all stations to enable manual feeding of panels if desired and 80 mm dia. (3") dust extraction outlet.
